The best way to meet someone new is to put yourself out there. Take a chance, a risk and try something you have never tried. We have all done the nightclub thing, waiting and hoping to meet someone halfway decent. Somehow, it never seems to happen…does it?

What is a normal, decent, funloving person suposed to do? You can try the grocery store, gym, post office or any of the other 10 million random places we have been told to check. The problem with this approach is that very few of us have the ability to walk up to a perfect stranger and start up a conversation. If we could do that, we probably wouldn’t be single, right.

The idea behing Table for 20 is to remove the barrier of having to start the awkward conversation. When we relax, when we are comfortable, we somehow turn into that person who has no problem being social. We suddenly enjoy talking to new people and making new friends.

Join us for a dinner party and make some new friends, and hopefully, with a little luck, meet that perfect person.

Join Table for 20 as we invade one of the coolest spots in downtown Los Angeles, the Restaurant at the Standard Hotel. This super cool spot offers an awesome menu set in a hip locale. The menu offers everything from burgers to scallops. If you are looking for a cool place to meet people, this is the spot. I’m sure most of us will be heading up to the rooftop bar after dinner to just hang and relax!

It all goes down Thursday, December 4th. Only 20 seats at our table, don’t wait too long.
